Does this mean I have not fixed the problem at all? I have a Toshiba Satellite A75, and it has been having the overheating problem and the DC jack problem. Insert the keyboard cable inside the connector on the system board as far as you can. My question is whether or not it would be possible that the battery is actually charging but my computer cannot or will not recognize that somehow. WEll i followed the advice and actually soldered it back on on the board. It is a month later now and I guess I have to find another place and order another one and hope they remove the ones I sent back off my charge card.
